Description: The Romulea revelierii (Jord. et Fourr.) is an endemic perennial herbaceous plant, belonging to the Iridaceae. This species differs from Romulea requienii for the internal section of the corolla, which is lighter than the flower, and for the short stigma, not longer than the stamen. Contrary to the other Romulea plants in Sardinia, which are mainly near the coast, the Revelieri grows on the mountains too. It is endemic to Sardinia, Corsica and Capraia island. This species is present on the islands of the National Park of La Maddalena Archipelago.
