Description: Descrizione: The Crocus minimus Dc. is a perennial herbaceous plant, with a subterranean pyriform bulb reaching an estimated size of 10 - 15 mm. Its spindly leaves are longer than the flowers. These can grow alone or in pairs, and are violet, with picturesque purple streaks, which may be appreciated in late-Spring, between March and May.
It can be found in Corsica, Sardinia and Tuscan Archipelago (Capraia Island). .
