Each event or activity in the National Park of the Archipelago requires a permit, also known as ‘ticket’. This allows visitors to sail, moor or anchor within a distance of 300 m from the coast, according to law. Obtaining authorisation before entering the Park's waters is essential to avoid fines and the 40% surcharge on recreational boats imposed by the control personnel.

Other useful information
- The fee is calculated on the recreational boat’s length
- Sailboats have a 40% discount on the ticket price
- The fee does not apply to kayaks, gigs, paddle boats, sculls, rowing catamarans, pedalos, windsurfing boards.

Users are informed that Ordinance No. 1 of 06/08/2024 of the Extraordinary Commissioner Dr. Rosanna Giudice has been published with the subject: “General provisions for the preservation and protection of Posidonia oceanica habitats and seabed of the National Park and SCI/ZSC area ITB010008”. READ THE ORDINANCE
- Article 1 - anchoring is not allowed in Ma areas.
- Article 2 - it is allowed to stop at night (from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.) exclusively at the mooring buoys, placed by the Park Authority or at the anchor, by recreational units owned by boaters residing in the Municipality of La Maddalena (or owned by companies having their registered office in the Municipality of La Maddalena for at least 5 years from the date of approval of this ordinance) provided that the said units are equipped with sewage collection boxes, when on-board services are present.
- Article 3 - the mooring of recreational units at buoy fields of private entities granted under a maritime state concession shall follow the regulations of their own license.
- Article 4 - during the time between 09:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., it is prohibited for any pleasure craft (watercraft, boats and pleasure vessels) to use the mooring buoys intended for units providing passenger transport service; for this purpose, the said buoys shall be appropriately identified by means of suitable signs placed on the buoy indicating that the same is reserved for passenger transport units.
